HAVE YOU IMAGINED SEEING THE SOUND?

Each sound frequency and each medium whether solid, liquid or gas vibrates, interacts and transforms itself in different ways.

This is what cymatics studies, the interactions of sound waves with the media in which they propagate. We submit a container with water to certain sounds, frequencies (Hz), and from them together with light, it is possible to capture images with geometric patterns.

With the equipment we developed to carry out the experiments, we can clearly observe these interactions. The results are reproduced in artistic pieces such as paintings, in Fine Art printing, prints transferred on wood, Blotter Art in resin keyrings and stickers. We can “see” sound by observing the interactions of sound waves with the materials in which they propagate.

In this way, we expose the content we create in our experiences and our experimentation processes. All the images we produce are photographs, and do not undergo any image editing process, only color treatment.

We are a trio, united by the purpose of introducing, through art, the cymatics present in nature. With the equipment we designed, we explored sound visualization, sharing its hidden psychedelia through synesthetic experiments, artistic pieces and conversations.

In order to add to the meeting of cultures that take place at music and art festivals, this project is the effort and desire to share knowledge with people who are interested or who still do not know this type of study.

Showing the beauty of these patterns, with a little-known science that manifests itself in everything and a reason to admire them and even visualize them in trance states.
